“Home Amidst the Haste” - Vacation Home for Saoirse Ronan

In the hopes of creating a “home away from home” feel, this space was made to be as comfortable as possible based on the clients wants and needs. The home embodies a mixture of the client’s Irish and New York roots with the help of charming Irish design and the eclectic feel of the city. The charm comes from shades of green and neutral tones to represent the Irish countryside, as well as ornate furniture. The eclecticism comes from muted pops of color as well as a variation of art, textures, and details. Pulling it all together is a simple asymmetrical floor plan to balance the winding streets of the outside city.
